Using an electric hand mixer, beat together the egg yolks with ½ cup (100 g) sugar. Wash the mixer beaters well and dry them thoroughly.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff. Fold in remaining, ¼ cup (50 g), sugar. Add the beaten egg whites to a large punch bowl. Fold in the prepared egg yolks, cream, milk, Irish whiskey and rum.
